We are stoked to welcome you to our online workshop about building up your ocean confidence: Two hours of valuable content for surfers who feel blocked by fear, negative thinking and low confidence. We’ll provide helpful input and give you the tools that get you started in feeling more confident and courageous in the water. In the end, we all want to have fun and surf better waves, right?
You are passionate about surfing, very dedicated and would like to improve continuously. But… Your mind gets in the way constantly, takes you to your limits and confronts you with your fears and insecurities.
It doesn’t matter what you’re afraid of. If it’s wipeouts, being caught in the impact zone, the different dangers of the ocean, the crowds or injuries. Fear has many faces! But if it’s making it hard for you to progress, you must change something about it. And let’s be honest: It just sucks to feel so stuck.
Imagine what would change in your surfing if fear and insecurity wouldn’t prevent you from taking action, wouldn’t send you into paralysis or wouldn’t make you feel so panicky.

Theory
Our mind is unique. It literally has superpowers. But to unlock those, it also needs to understand why it’s supposed to do something. It needs to connect the dots. And it needs clear instructions. That is why we will provide you with valuable background knowledge about fear and confidence and a roadmap to follow.
Fear & Confidence Tools
We want to give you more than knowledge. After the workshop, we want you to walk away with valuable tools that you can use to overcome your fear and boost your confidence in the line-up. You will learn helpful exercises and visualizations that you can use as a mental warm-up or during your session in the water.
Breath
Our breath is our life force. It is a tool that allows you to influence your nervous system directly, whether you need to calm down or pump yourself up. Increasing your lung capacity helps you to manage longer hold-downs. We want to introduce you to surf-specific breathwork so you can feel safe and confident in the water.
Fear starts in your head. Courage as well!
Your results:
You’re starting to have more confidence to surf faster and steeper waves.
You notice that you surf the wave with more flow.
You feel much more comfortable in a crowded line-up and can catch your waves more confidently.
You can concentrate on what’s important and keep your focus, no matter what! You know that as soon as the waves get a little more challenging, that’s one of the most important skills to have.
You have a positive mindset, and you can identify which surf conditions offer you the best opportunities and possibilities.
With every session, you’ll get more waves and have even more fun surfing!
And last, but not least — these techniques can also be used in your everyday life! That’s awesome, right? It’s not only about surfing, you are also learning how it applies in life!
