Theory
Our mind is unique. It literally has superpowers. But to unlock those, it also needs to understand why it’s supposed to do something. It needs to connect the dots. And it needs clear instructions. That is why I will provide you with valuable background knowledge about fear and confidence and a roadmap to follow.

Fear & Confidence Tools
I want to give you more than knowledge. I want you to walk away with valuable tools that you can use to overcome your fear and boost your confidence in the line-up. You will learn helpful exercises and visualizations that you can use to continue building up your mental strength, in and out of the water.

Breath
Our breath is our life force. It is a tool that allows you to influence your nervous system directly, whether you need to calm down or pump yourself up. Increasing your lung capacity helps you to manage longer hold-downs. I want to introduce you to surf-specific breathwork so you can feel safe and confident in the water.
Fear starts in your head. Courage as well!

Kim has such a broad understanding of the mental game in sports and whatever I came up with I never felt judged, she took so much time for uncovering underlying issues with me and it really felt like she’s enjoying her work. A good friend once told me that I shouldn’t just practice my manoeuvres in the water, but also visualize them in my mind.
So I did — and it worked right away. Incredible, I could hardly believe it! That flow moment made it clear to me how essential mental training really is.
To prepare for the Swiss Wavepool Championships, I booked mental training sessions with Kim. Through her coaching, I was able to stay connected to my genuine joy and motivation for surfing. This allowed me to experience amazing flow moments again and again.
As a result, I was thrilled to take first place at the Swiss Wavepool Championship 2021!

Thanks to my 1:1 coaching with Kim, I was able to release inner blocks that had been affecting my daily life and taking away from the quality of my surf sessions.
